Step Change in Safety was created in 1997 by industry, for industry, with a mission to prevent incidents and injuries across the energy industry. 

The safety and wellbeing of the workforce always comes first - it is the bedrock of our organisation and shapes everything we do.

We bring together organisations of all sizes and from multiple sectors across the energy industry, alongside workforce representatives and regulators. because everyone has a role to play in making workplaces safer.

As a member-led, not-for-profit organisation, collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We help organisations share learning, strengthen safety culture and tackle challenges together through resources, events, workgroups and industry updates.
