Alerts & Learnings Rescue Craft Fuel Isolation Valves During a boat transfer using the vessels Daughter Craft, both engines stopped whilst the craft was in transit. the crew conducted an initial investigation and found that the fuel valves were in the closed position, the valves were opened, and a single engine started, the Daughter Craft managed to complete the transfer and return safely to the mother vessel. The vessel had recently undergone her Port call and her Daughter Craft had been subjected to a full inspection by contractors, who it is believed as part of their maintenance had isolated the fuel valves.
