During the third quarter of 2021, the focus will be on Major Accident Hazard Understanding
Step Change in Safety is committed to making our sector the safest place to work by preventing predictable incidents, working with our colleagues in the industry to achieve that. With that in mind, in 2021 we will be introducing quarterly safety themes which will focus on a different topic every three months.
In July, August and September, attention will centre on Major Accident Hazard Understanding, building on previous campaigns in order to reduce the likelihood of such events.

🔺 Identify site specific MAH risks

During the first quarter of 2021, the focus will be on Life Saving Rules
During the second quarter of 2021, the focus will be on Safe Lifting Operations and Preventing Falling Objects
During the fourth quarter of 2021, Personal Responsibility for Safety will be examined
