Prevention of Major Accidents

Offshore and Frontline Personnel

All offshore personnel undertake MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) which includes a Major Accident Hazard module. Further training is necessary to ensure all frontline workers know how to play their part in preventing major accidents.

Technician MAH training: a gap analysis tool and list of free resources to address any gaps identified is available.

Elected Safety Reps: a module specific to understanding and identifying Major Accident Hazards is included in the ‘Elected Safety Representatives Development Training’ available from DNV.

Frontline Supervisor: a gap analysis tool and list of resources to address any gaps identified is available.

Managers: a gap analysis tool and list of free resources for leaders and supervision to address any gaps identified is available.
