Monday 31 July 2023 ‘Positive Engagement Behaviours’ Social Campaign Launched Today we launch our ‘Positive Engagement Behaviours’ campaign to gather examples which will inform and update our Workforce Engagement Toolkit. All resources in the toolkit are being revised and improved and we are looking to involve our social media followers, encouraging you to share best practice and positive engagement behaviours already taking place in the industry. For those who joined our recent ESR event and WEST workshop, you will have already been involved in interacting and submitting your own examples of behaviours around the 6 themes: ParticipationCommunicationVisibilitySupport InvolvementChallenge Your feedback will help the Workforce Engagement Support Team (WEST) to update the toolkit and recognise best practice already happening in the industry. A fully engaged workforce is one of the most effective barriers against incidents and accidents. Engaged workers feel empowered to raise awareness of unsafe situations, which can enhance a culture of safety at worksites. Over the coming weeks we will ask you to share examples of ‘Positive Engagement Behaviours’ in your workplace of each of the themes. You can share your examples in the comments area of our post, but if you wish to share more in-depth information, please email: info@stepchangeinsafety.net We look forward to your participation and feedback! #PlayYourPart #PositiveEngagementBehaviours #memberresource #memberengagement
