About This Resource Mental Health Awareness Guidance About Mental health used to be a taboo subject, but over recent years has become ever more topical, with organisations becoming increasingly aware of their responsibilities to their employees. Mental health awareness is still evolving and the global pandemic accelerated this in the energy sector, due to added potential pressures of workload, isolation, uncertainty, job security etc. This simple guidance document provides the basics of mental health awareness in an attempt to reduce stigma, initiate conversations and direct individuals to additional sources of support. It can be used in conjunction with five specially commissioned films that were launched in 2021.
