Our Process Safety Leadership Workgroup brings together industry leaders who play a vital role in driving continuous improvement in process safety

Aim: To achieve a sustainable improvement in Process Safety Leadership, to prevent Major Accidents across the energy industry.

The Process Safety Leadership Workgroup will support the energy industry to equip senior leaders and managers with non-technical skills and knowledge that results in positive demonstrable leadership, improved decision making, and enhanced company culture.

PSL WG is focused on:

  • Leadership, commitment, and responsibility
  • Identification and compliance with legislation and industry standards
  • Employee selection, placement and competency, and health assurance
  • Workforce involvement (lead)
  • Communication with stakeholders
  • Management of change and project management
  • Contractor and supplier, selection and management
  • Audit, assurance, management review, and intervention
